"This sculpture plays on the dual nature of glass as always existing between solid and liquid states. I am interested in the ways that this material is capable of representing the potential for fluidity and change, while in reality being extremely stable and durable. In "Tipping Point", a solid glass form and a sphere containing water are literally suspended in a kind of stasis, calling attention to the seemingly insignificant shifts happening around us at every moment."
