Artist Statement

David King is a trained craftsperson who believes in the aura of handmade artifacts. His projects often begin with research into the historical manufacturing processes while grappling with an ever-quickening technological present. The result is an imagined reality where tradition and innovation coincide in absurdly impractical objects and installations.
