Artist Statement

I like the archetypal, the ancient, and the universal. I love the unconscious energies that form us all. I love the aspects of existence that we all share. When I was a little kid, I got hold of glass and fire and it touched me in a primal way. It's warm and gooey to work with and it's very pleasing to my sensual nature. It freezes the dance of my emotions and makes me - shows me that I am here. Just when I am feeling hopelessly self-absorbed, someone comes along and tells me that they like the work.......Thank God......I mean, how lucky can a guy get?
